dxperience and expressapp framework v8.3.4 assemblies installers:

if you already have dxperience or expressapp framework v8.3.x trials installed you don't have to reinstall dxperience or xaf v8.3.4 trial, just install these over and you'll have 8.3.4.
the strong key is in the installer. you will need it and only it if you want to produce satellite assemblies for localization purposes.
if you need to use another strong key you can follow these steps:
1- replace strongkey.snk in devexpress.key folder
2- edit PKT values in changepkt.bat
3- and run changepkt.bat to replace the signature of the assemblies.
I haven't tested the steps above but it is the batch file which is used to replace the signatures of the original assemblies. if you need to replace the signatures then you should be able to fix the batch file by yourself if something goes wrong.
there is a batch file named snreplace.bat. just have a look at it, you'll see how to replace the strong key.
in changepkt.bat you have to edit replpktdemos.exe line. if your signature has PKT value of all 1s, you have to edit that line as:

replpktdemos.exe 5377c8e3b72b4073 1111111111111111

5377c8e3b72b4073 is the PKT which is used during the re-signing process of the assemblies. using the command above will result in the replacement of 5377c8e3b72b4073 with your PKT in all assemblies, tools and demos.

not all dlls in these installers are compiled. some of them are just re-signed or patched, but everything should work.


if you need the source code don't ask me. I never had it, never heard of it, never seen it :P you can try to compare v8.3.3 and v8.3.4 assemblies or buy it. devexpress has it and it is really cheap considering the productivity boost these components provide. there is no other way I can recommend you to get the source code.
