The Manhattan Transfer is a quartet with perfect vocal harmony. They have started their career since 1972, and still active till now. Beside their perfect vocal harmony, they're also famous with blending big band and other sub genre/style into contemporary jazz. The fourties-style of singing brought to present days, with cool improvisation, both vocal and melody. This is the album from 2006. You can get from classy old skool swing in Route 66, groovy beat in Birdland, romantic swing tunes in several songs, even a cool classical baroque orchestra as the opening in Offbeat Of Avenues. It's hard to believe that they're at their 60s year of age. Oh yes, this one is clean and clear high quality of 320 kbps bitrate, guys. Once again, this is a super cool album, perfect for fans swing/big band, fans of quartet with perfect vocal harmony, the Manhattan Transfer fans and you who love jazz. Very recommended.
